Choose black-coated or galvanized chain link

Galvanized chain link is a straightforward option for utility areas and longer runs. Black-coated chain link gives the fence a darker finish that can blend with landscaping. We select the height, fabric, posts, rails, and gate details around the intended use rather than treating every chain-link project as the same specification.

Contain the yard without closing the view

For homes, chain link can define side yards, give pets a fenced area, and preserve visibility. Tell us about pets, ground conditions, and the clearances you need beneath the fence and at gates. Walk gates and double-drive gates can be included to suit everyday access and equipment.

Commercial fencing and interior storage cages

Owens also builds chain-link security fencing, interior storage cages, and larger gate systems for commercial properties. Our work includes a storage cage at Hyundai Glovis in Pembroke and security fencing with cantilever gates in downtown Savannah. Commercial scope starts with the required use, drawings or specifications, access, and site conditions.

Make the gate opening part of the design

Gate openings, swing clearance, vehicle access, grade, and operator needs should be considered before the fence is laid out. We install swing gates and commercial cantilever systems, including a 60-foot double cantilever gate project in Pooler. Powered entrances are reviewed as a complete fence, gate, operator, and access-control installation.

Chain-Link Fencing questions

Is chain link suitable for a residential backyard?

Yes. It can provide practical containment with open visibility. The height, fabric, gates, and bottom clearances should be selected around your property and how the yard will be used.

Can you quote from commercial drawings?

Send the plans or scope, required fence specification, footage if known, gate openings, and site location. We review the details and confirm the installation scope before quoting.

What affects chain-link fence cost?

Footage, height, fabric and post specifications, finish, gates, operator equipment, removal, and access all affect pricing. Residential and commercial specifications can differ significantly.
