Privacy Policy.
A plain-language explanation of the information Owens collects through this website and how it is handled.
Effective September 3, 2026. Owens Fence Company is a division of Owens Contracting Services LLC (“Owens,” “we,” “us”). We use website information to respond to inquiries, plan and quote projects, provide service, and operate this site. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- contact information such as your name, phone number, email address, and project address;
- project information such as fence type, dimensions, gate needs, existing-fence removal, notes, surveys, plot plans, yard photos, and planner drawings;
- map points or device location coordinates when you choose the aerial-map or GPS-walk features;
- job-application information such as your contact details, location, position interests, availability, work authorization, driving and transportation status, relevant skills, work history, professional reference, and an optional resume;
- standard technical information created when a website is used, such as IP address, browser type, request time, referring page, and security logs; and
- information you choose to provide by phone, email, Jobber, or another linked service.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to you, review project feasibility, prepare estimates, create and manage customer requests, plan measurements and site visits, provide installation or service, evaluate job applicants, contact applicant references or listed employers when authorized, maintain business records, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the site, and comply with applicable obligations.
Fence Planner drafts and photos
The Fence Planner can save an unfinished draft in your browser’s local storage so you can continue on the same device. The planner treats a draft as expired after seven days and clears it the next time the planner opens. A completed submission clears the local draft immediately. You can also clear it from the planner’s start screen. Drafts are not synced to Owens until you send the plan.
Selected yard photos are resized and converted on your device before submission, which removes embedded image metadata. Photo files are not stored in the local draft; they must be reselected after a refresh. When you send a plan, the prepared photos and project drawing are transmitted with the request.
Career applications
The Careers form collects only the information needed for an initial review and sends it to Owens for hiring consideration. Applicants should not enter a Social Security number, birth date, driver’s-license number, medical information, or other sensitive identifier in the form or resume. If a later hiring step requires a background or driving-record check, Owens will request the necessary information and authorization separately.
Submitting an application does not create an offer or guarantee of employment. Application information may be reviewed for current or upcoming roles and may be shared internally only with people involved in hiring and business operations.
Services that process information
We share information only as reasonably needed to operate the website and provide the requested service. Providers may include:
- Jobber, for customer requests and project management;
- Resend, for secure delivery of website submission emails and attachments, including fence plans and career applications;
- Google Maps and Places, when you use address search, aerial mapping, or location features;
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, to understand website use, measure advertising performance, and record actions such as quote starts, planner submissions, financing-link visits, and phone-link clicks;
- Vercel, which hosts and secures the website; and
- Wisetack, only when you choose to leave this site and check financing options. Wisetack’s own terms and privacy practices then apply.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
On our production website, Google Analytics and Google Ads may use cookies or similar device information to measure visits and advertising results. Owens does not send the contact details or project notes entered in our forms to those services. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and manage personalized advertising through Google’s advertising settings. Google explains its handling of information in its privacy policy.
Retention and security
Submitted project, customer, and applicant records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for quoting, service, hiring consideration, warranties, business records, disputes, security, and legal purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may choose manual measurements instead of GPS, skip optional photos, clear a local planner draft, or contact Owens to ask about access to or correction or deletion of information associated with you. Some records may need to be retained for active work, warranties, accounting, security, or legal obligations.
Children
This site is intended for property owners, tenants with appropriate authority, and business customers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The effective date at the top will show the latest revision.
